Remastered soundtrack
What exactly has been changed in the soundtrack?

Every remaster I've played that changes the sound has just made it worse than the original.

It seems like a feature that publishers push for in these re-releases just so they have a reason to call it a "remaster" instead of a port, for marketing purposes.

It's a shame the new OST omitted the theme from Garcian and Mills' conversations again.

Is the remaster louder?

you're misreading. the soundtrack album has been remastered (the proper use of the term, calling video game ports "remasters" is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying), meaning most of the audio production was redone. sounds a lot louder than previous releases of the soundtrack which is a bit lame, but there's unreleased tracks.

I've noticed some changes made to Blackburn and Geopolitics in the remastered album (and for the worse), although I don't know if it's reflected in-game yet.

this one in particular is actually baked into the cutscenes itself. best luck you'd have is to use an ai to isolate it
