You can't lose skins.

And the "P2W" is incredibly minor. It's so easy to get jumped in this game if you make one small mistake gear is easy come, easy go.

no it isnt, you use arum to insure items and you get them back..... arum is very hard to get unless you want to buy it so. essentially yes it is pay to win. and also now plagued with cheaters.

You can pay to start with better gear, but it doesn't mean anything if you don't know what you're doing (which new players dont) so no? not really.

I saw this in a review:

But there's more, of course. Being an "extraction shooter", if you die, you lose what you're carrying... can't go back and get it. Unless, haha, you spend in-game currency, which equates to real world money unless you want to grind like a maniac, to keep your loot when you die.

Can anyone actually confirm if you can pay real money to keep your loot if you die or is the reviewer just talking nonsense?

To be fair, you can buy a more expensive edition in Tarkov and also get really good gear as a level 1 player. It's not a problem that's unique to The Cycle.

To be fair, you can buy a more expensive edition in Tarkov and also get really good gear as a level 1 player. It's not a problem that's unique to The Cycle.

First purchase, sure. First few wipes, maybe. But they've long since taken away the EOD gear after wipes. Aside from the gamma pouch, that's all you get for past EOD purchase.
