Hows the cheating going?

Hi, just wondering if any active players can tell me whats going on with the cheating issue? Is it still as rampart as ever or are they actually doing something to fight it?

I'm tired of EFT and want something more casual but yeah, this game has a REALLY BAD rep.

So, how's the situation?

Far better than S1 where teleports and instakills were common, havnt run into anything like that this season so far.

I reported everyone who killed me. Out of the 5-6 deaths I got 1 package back. So, I have no idea. However everyone seems super chill I've run into. I'm level 20~ on the pass for reference.

Most of the people I have run into dont seem to miss a single shot. My HP bar is only worth 60% percent of its real value, after that, next hit is always insta-death. Tis DID NOT HAPPEN up to 1 day before the new season.

I've gone from 1.42 KD from last season to 0.3 KD so far this season. Impossible to kill anyone, even when I get the jump on them. I've died half my total death count from season 1 in just a few days.

It's really weird because I was killing people even in the cataclysm event. I log off for the night, and next morning everything changed. Impossible fights.

it's a lot much less than usual, I've had ONE cheater now at Fortuna Pass lvl 40ig

How would you know? People who cheat arn't stupid they are just dishonest. It's so easy to make it seem like you're legit. People who use walls know not to point directly at you through walls, they know to not use aim hacks these days. The hacking industry is funded ten times the amount the anticheat industry is, the cheat technology available today far exceeds the anticheat technology.

Simply put, there is absolutely no way to really know how many people are cheating, but its probably far more than you would think.

Feels like more cheating now than ever. I am not the best player, but at the end of season 1 and beginning of season 2 I could at least win a gun fight. Now I get melted wearing blue armor with upgraded weapons getting the jump on others to just get melted by basic low level guns. Find that I can't even hide in a bush or nook for 5 minutes without moving for someone to find me and kill me. Granted I have not paid a thing to play this game, but very frustrating. I am not sure if I will continue to play or not. Like the game just tired of being killed by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cheaters.

Also find it interesting that anyone that streams or post videos on youtube never has this problem.

Reading all these posts, i guess I'm right, they need to make a separate Mode just for PVE so players can chilled sometimes. But wasting my time, because it won't happen.

There's a game called Scavengers, which suffer the same type of fate. Devs don't get it.

The lead Dev made a long post regarding issues about the game. Talking about cheaters and how they plan to resolve it. (I have not downloaded the game but have kept my eye on it)

The game had a worst rep in the past, it' better... but yeah... still got some cheaters... people that see trough walls, know your locations in a long shot over the woods/tall grass... people that don't get damaged by granades and never misses a LMG or SMG shot on your head... yeah i've faced at least one of each case.

I am CLEARLY in the cheaters pool.

I just had a guy run to my hiding spot and insta shoot me. Who does that?

I also sent an email to their support to tell me if I am in the trusted / untrusted bracket and they told me "they can't tell me because they dont know themselves, it's all automated". Lol are you seriously telling me you can't even check in your system what bracket your players are in?
Obviously, cheaters bracket and they dont want to tell me because they regard me as a cheater and dont want me to even try to make a new account to bypass it.

No wonder my kda dropped from 1.40 to 0.30 from one day to the other.

Well too bad for you Yager, I regret spending money in the first season, but that's the last $$$ you will get from me.

There is no reason to frustrate people if they dont have anything.

They gonna adjust there hacksoftware and cheat the ♥♥♥♥ out of this game again in season 2 too, even if the most delusional 0.05 K/D fanbois this game has tell you otherwise.

It is sad, but The Cycle: Frontier is maybe the greatest hackfest in online shooter history, thats why it looks like a triple A game but has no players.

It looks amazing but doesn't really play that well. But I also don't expect it to be at say PUBG level out of the gates.

Found only 1 cheater since season 2 and friend got cheated 2 times.

Up and down. yesterday I did multiple drops no cheaters. Today I've had a cheater, just now in fact. I'm just rendering the video for upload for my report. I killed the cheater. Then his cheater mate tried to stop me to gt his mates stuff back but I got away.

My conclusion is still on going. I'm not playing as much as I should to get a real feel as to how much better or worse or the same it is. It;s been very up and down so far.
