Any plans for online multiplayer?

I'd like to know this too. Game looks so fun, but being local only reduces the times I'd be able to play it significantly. I would purchase the game straight away if there were an online component, so I can play with friends. As of now I can't justify the price to play time I'd get out of it.

Hey guys, As of right now we don't have plans to add online support. It is something we would love to have in the future, but it may be out of our teams reach. For the short term we are hoping to add bots and a few more game modes that will hopefully make it much more fun to play solo/small parties of just a few friends. Thanks for checking us out!

yeah, it's really important i think, the game look really fun to play, but i have a little room to play and it's impossible for me to play with 2 friends, i will only buy the game if online or bots are in the game

Just an update, in the meantime while we don't have official support for Online Multiplayer, we have found Parsec to be a great solution for playing Takelings online. https://parsecgaming.com/
