Need some Steam Link help!

My computer with my VR headset is in my game room and I want to play with a few friends but there's no room in the game room and the monitor is too small to share and so I wanted to use my steam link to display the screen in my living room and have the other players in the living room. Other VR games seem to work but this game seems like it crashes and doesn't want to start up all the way. Goes back to the steam page.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, people have reported Steam streaming the VR perspective rather than the Takelings view, and I have that fixed in the next upcoming update. I'll investigate the issue you are describing as well. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Just an update and I'm not quite sure what I did differently, just tampered with a few things and it works no problem and has continued to work thereafter.

I also ended up having issues with audio not playing on both, but i think that's more of a steam link issue and I fixed it as well after messing with some settings.

i am also having trouble displaying the secondary view to steam link. will tinker until it works.

I’m guessing this was never fixed because my group only sees my perspective when casting to a tv from my pc.
