Hole-in-one stat resets at random

I'm trying to get the achievements but the holes-in-one keep resetting, Please fix.

Update 2022:
Developer said he wont provide any updates or support for this title anymore

it was later discovered you can avoid (or greatly decrease the risk of*) a stat reset by replaying the first 2 levels on the first map then quitting to the menu over and over.

1) From the menu, Solo > Start.
2) Hole in 1 hole 1.
3) Hole in 1 hole 2.
4) Wait for hole 3 to load, esc > Exit Game.
5) Repeat for 300 hole in ones.

Credit to Doddie for finding this solution, so far no one has had a reset using it.

turns out they reset at random not just when the game is started.
