But my controllers have more buttons.
They're not talking about controllers, they're talking about hand tracking.
The Quest 2 now has pretty neat hand tracking. Would be nice if it wasn't a bad headset and also owned by Facebook, but, the hand tracking is pretty cool.
You're totally wrong.
It's about finger tracking which q2 does not have.
I am talking about hand tracking that yes, that also includes individual fingers. That is what i am requesting here.
No, I'm not wrong. I own a Q2 and it can literally track my fingers with no controller. Not all apps support that feature, but it does have that feature. I've played around in Unreal Engine with it.
Great, great.
Then hide your hand behind your back, and let your mom tell how many fingers you show (by looking at the monitor).
"Not all apps support that feature," good jokes. There are 5 of them all ???
edit:
And why are you writing here, go write it on the oculus forum.
And why would i wanna handshake the bot in this game with my hands on my back? You're just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at this point. If you have an index, good for you, just don't ♥♥♥♥ on us who wants workarounds/alternatives because valve doesn't ship to us.
You clearly have trouble thinking.
Then I don't waste my time on you anymore.
Go your way - good luck.
And you clearly can't read. Anyways, not wasting my time on ignorant people and blocking your butt.
Blocked 'em too. They seem to just be trying to start drama.
Anyway, would be neat if Valve were to implement hand tracking on other devices that support it, like Quest2. I'm not sure how often this app gets revisited or patched though.
It's a great deal, especially after they raised the price of quest 2 by $100. In my opinion for this price it is not worth buying. By paying little extra you can buy much better goggles. Unless someone doesn't have a gaming computer, then it makes some sense, but quest 2 games are ugly and expensive, so it's a confusing saving.
that's cool, in norway, if you find a chap selling a kit, it tends to be 1.8 grand. Valve doesn't sell hardware to non EU lands.
Now I think it may have been a misunderstanding.
My controller has buttons that aren't visible, when you touch certain places, it acts as a button.
