Yellow Bugs
are above some of my patrons. Only read here about bed bugs and some repellent. Is this the case and where do I get bug repellent? Thanks.

In "Furnish Mode" select the "Outside" tab (last one), then scroll down until you see the cat's pillow(s) and, right after, some sort of bent tree with a punching ball hanging from it.
The item next to the tree is the punching ball itself, which you can hang from ceilings.

Hang two or three around in your main hall, in the guest room, in the gambling room, and possibly in every room where your customers can go and sit/lie down.

I have absolutely no idea how the "Bug Repellent II" works, related to the size of the room it's placed in, but personally I prefer to place one every 3x3 space, so to be sure it reaches everywhere.

The effect is not instantaneous, it takes time, and it seems to *reduce* the problem till it makes it disappear completely.
I've noticed the "yellow bug" icon can be of different sizes, which, I guess, might mean it can have several grades of intensity. And the size goes down as the repellent does its job.

You can still manually remove bugs from benches and chairs, but the repellent will eventually chase them away on its own.

Remember that repellents need herbs to work, so keep an eye on your stock.

First of all, lol for the pun.

Second, please mark my answer as the solution, so that devs and users know that this issue has been solved.

Thank you.

It's not really solved as bug repellents should be used as preventatory measures not as active fixes. Employees should be able to manually clean the bug infested areas, which for some reason they seem to be greatly struggling with. Bug repellents are supposed to prevent these infestations from occurring, not removing the infestations once they already exist.

Never checked the wiki for repellents, mostly because the wiki itself is rather risible, at the moment.
But customers come in already infested, and by sitting at a table they automatically infest the benches/chairs/stools.
This is the kind of infestation repellents *remove*.

Maybe you're referring to the infestation of appliances, more precisely shelves. I encountered it, and the icon is different. While that of customers looks like a ladybug, the one that I've seen on shelves looks more like a maggot with pincers.
By placing repellents around shelves too, especially in my warehouse, I've never seen that icon again.

That was my point. Bug repellents aren't supposed to magically shoo already well entrenched bugs away, they're meant to keep bugs away in the first place. This game doesn't understand the word repellent, as in repel, as in to keep away. Once they're in it's too late to keep them out, the solution needs to be different. But well, this is the item this game has for the mechanic of bug infestation so whatever I guess...
