Need Guidance With My Baths
I have three baths set up right now. I had more in the separate bath house but they would only use one so I removed 2 and added the second changing station to see if that helped. It did not.

I can get people to use the bath very rarely. Most of the time the people are just standing by the counter and not moving after saying they want a bath.

(BTW, I fixed my bug infestation)

So everything seems to be working with the baths with the exception of water. The drudges will not carry water to it nearly enough for them to maintain usage.

If I set more drudges to carrying, they carry everything, not just water for baths.

Watching customers, I was never entirely sure that the ones asking for baths actually wanted baths, unlike the ones asking for beds, who immediately went to the guest room if there was a bed available. Because baths take a little while to prepare, I think what might happen is the people asking for a bath then sit down and wait while someone fetches the water. It is then an appreciable time later before they then go and get changed and into the bath.

How are people meant to get to your bathroom?

Do people standing by the counter block the doorway leading to the black and white tiled room?

Baths are bugged, particularly so with the people you have in private rooms, and you may well find people having baths with no water. two or three people having baths in the same bath at the same time, drudges bringing seemingly endless quantities of water to the same bath, which may already have someone in it.

As in a lot of the game, pathing is suspect. Drudges do not bring water from the nearest source (although I suppose it might be the nearest source at the time they get the instruction to fill a bath), patrons appear to use the most recently-purchased changing screen, wherever it happens to be, and occasionally you will get a guest trying to have a bath whom your employees continually engage in conversation, locking whichever changing screen they happen to be using or about to use and building up a queue of bathers waiting to get changed. You can avoid most of this by having a second changing screen, but I had two of them locked at one point and needed to build a third (in a different room, since there was no room left in the bathroom).

I changed my bath setup. Thinking maybe if they're in private rooms they will use them. I was wrong.

This is my new setup.

But they only use the bottom left one. I do not know why. The other baths never get used and never get filled, even though I have 3 people standing around that had asked for baths.

My customers that want a bath just ask for a bath and then stand there doing nothing. I end up having to move them and then kick them out.

Slight update. Apparently the drudges will carry water to fill baths for the bards just fine. So this is clearly just a buggy bag of ♥♥♥♥ when it comes to baths.

baths are buggy; that is beyond question. I'm pretty sure that if you have multiples of the same bath, they all register as the same one. you chose the most expensive one, which is fine; however, you'll see that the different baths have different symbols associated with them. this indicates preferences by different types of people. I think the most expensive bath is preferred by the pirate faction. there's one for nobles, for townsolk, for yoreville army, etc. when i had multiple baths of different types, i would occasionally have up to three baths in the same room in use at once.

Ah, that is why I never noticed that particular bug - each of my four baths was different. Only in the colour of the headrest, but they were different nonetheless.

Oh that's amazing.

So you don't necessarily need a changing screen per bath then? That's what someone else told me.

I'm going to try your method today and hope it works. I appreciate it.
although many mentioned bathing is bugged, maybe I can tell you my "problem" and ask for help (maybe I miss sth.):

I placed a marble bath (I know, it is prefered from townsfolk) and a changing paravant into a bathroom first.

Didn't take long, and it was filled with water. But noone took a bath for a long time.
Some days later a Peasant came and took a bath in that marble bathtub.
When he left, bathtub was empty and stayed that way till today. Meanwhile I placed the bathtub and paravant into the sleeping room (not private), but also no filling and/or usage.

Tutorial says, it would work only in bedrooms (but why are there bathrooms then?).

Do I have to place a barrel with water next to it?

There is no button with an option or command to fill the tub with water...

Very confused.

EDIT:

After many many many many MANY days they started to bring water to the tub.... water, water and water - although the tub was filled after the first time. But again many days passed an noone used the filled bath. No it is empty again.

So I guess, one of the many bugs.

I had this issue of the baths being filled over and over. I saw a trend where the number of workers filling it kept doubling. I had issues with Bards using them as well and also had customers get locked up wanting to bath but not using them. I took them all out and then had some other issue so I shelved that game. I've gone back to trying the campaign as I never finished it due a bug that has been supposedly fixed.

Shelved it 2 times so far. Had the illusion that this ignorant Klabaterguy did learn how to write proper algorithms by now... OK, as there were 3 people stuck into each other naked for bathing in one tub, one a hired pitfighter which I kicked, the result was after building additional paravants they left the tavern naked. But now I cannot get a bard or adventurere anymore, because the fighter is doing weird things in the program code as a ghost or smth.

So I saved the tavern building with F9 and try to find out how to import it into a new sandbox game - if it doesn't work, I'll join you and shelve it again... this time for the last time, I think. :D

I sent them a save file that had frozen adventurers and one that returned but underground and haven't heard anything like even if they received it.
Yeah, that Klabaterguy is pretty "überheblich" (sry, don't know the right word in English (there are some to choose in dict.cc))
Ok, so i had to look things up to completely understand this post.

"überheblich translations: arrogant, pretentious, self-important, pretentiously".

Paravent: "Chiefly in France or in French contexts: something, especially a screen, that provides protection against the wind; (hence in extended use) a dividing screen or partition."

Everyone who dabbles with baths currently experiences bugs. Until i got my first bards, i was able to use my baths without any problems (see screenshot link in my earlier post), laying out 4 baths and 2 screens. with the baths against the walls, i rarely had dual usage of baths, but it was a near constant thing when bathers should have to walk past one bath to get in another; they'd just get in the closest one, even if occupied. before i had private room occupants, my worst problem was that i had a single person frozen naked because i accidentally clicked on them while enroute between the bath and screen. As soon as i got my first bard, things got terribly buggy, with the bard (and later adventurers) completely clogging the baths, hogging water, and permanently locking the screens.

Same for me I only had two bathtubs but they seem to be working although I had issues with the workers over filling them, I was able to work around that by selling the bathtubs and buying new ones. But once Bards came onto the scene and later my adventurers the bathtubs had to go.
