Question on bath tubs
I have a few questions regarding bath tubs:
1. Is changing screen a 1:1 ratio with bath tubs? Meaning I can ahe 1 x changing screen for 2 x batch tubs?
2. In my recent game, I learned that a few people are stuck and literally on stack on top of another in the bath tub. When I tried the hand tool to remove them, they are just standing there naked and doing nothing. I tried saving the game and then reload it which then caused these people to now have clothes but are still just standing doing nothing. I tried kicking them out but nothing happened. Any suggestions?

In general, one changing screen will serve for as many bathtubs as you like, but you might sometimes find that a bather is approached by all your staff who want a chat, and they may then cause a queue with no one else using the changing screen till they finally decide to use it themselves, and I needed to add a second changing screen to get everyone moving again. After several repeats, I just kept two changing screens with my four baths, but I still get the other bugs you describe, and more.

When I gave rooms to fighters, they tended to just get locked up in bathing, not getting any benefit for it (their bathing bar was still empty) and becoming more and more depressed. One of them permanently locked one of my changing screens, and I could not even sell it (a common way of overcoming locked items), which meant I could not do anything else with that floor tile.

Other people have reported bathers using changing screens in completely different rooms (if, for example, you have a bath in a private room), even when there is one right next to the bath.

It was bathing more than anything else that caused me to eventually quit in my recent re-try of the game.

Thanks. I will try to experiment more on the ideal distribution ratio.

But I agree, these bugs are really frustrating.

Yes, everyone uses the last changing screen that was placed, no matter what, it is very annoying.

I currently have a 2x2 bathing room in the NE corner of the ground floor of my inn. it has the best bath and the best changing screen (one of each), but, despite visitors wishing for the chance to bathe, nobody comes to the bathroom. it is at the end of an "empty room" hallway that visitors use to access guest rooms without issue. the door is unlocked and accessable to the public, the room type is bathing room, with bathing as the option of what can be done within... is there some setting i'm missing? is pathing to the far NE corner of the inn too far to go??

@flyingdeathmonkee if you mean the text of them wanting to baths--those text/thoughts are not accurate and do not reflect their actual needs. Not all guests will wants bath despite them "wishing" so--kinda rare ish for them.
You can manual click on them and magnify class option, it should show the list of their actual needs they want.

It could be the empty room. I have noticed ordinary inn visitors (which are the majority of bath users) seem reluctant to pass through empty rooms. Redesignate it as a main hall and see if that makes any difference.

Relatively few people will want baths, but there ought to be some. I too am not entirely convinced that guests who say they want a bath actually want one. unlike people who say they want a bed, who almost all immediately go to the bedroom. However, I have not followed the bath-askers. It does take some time to prepare a bath, after all (as you will see).

You do have a source of water available, don't you? Not in the bathroom, but somewhere drudges can fetch it from.

@threethreethree I mean you never seems to get tired of being negative every single time so I guess it's something you do daily or just have nothing to do. I've only been on the forum here and there. But I noticed that you have a super crappy attitude in most threads and act like it's the end of the world while mentioned you wouldn't be back (but you are and is looking at it every day).

Coming from: Someone who backed multiple kickstarters and purchased EAs.
Some of the worse I can recall from my mind right now
Wild Seasons disaster, chaos, and ultimately abandoned/scam.
Forsaken Isle ( still love it but dev abandoned)
No Man Sky chaos (preordered and refunded -but they made up)
Buggy mess of The Guild 3 (semi okay but still crappy)
The current slowpoke of Re;Legend (extremely bugs ridden and CTD and require new save--) and physical goods delay
Pending kickstarters: Ova Magica, sunnyside, and coral island --All with risks, especially the more funds it gets (have seen and experienced devs inability to handle funds and abandon development).

If you don't like the game, nothing wrong with it. Leave a negative review, make a rant. Move on. But being a toxic sorry sap isn't.

My current stance is neutral as I'm giving/waiting for devs to do something as the new CM "promised" that it's not abandoned and they are doing something.
I don't like how the new CM and devs have been handling communication it but that's okay (for now -see previous ).
And the updates/bug fix history has been slow (but that seems to be the trend nowadays with developers).
The game is neither great or crappy, and doesn't deserve the praise or the toxic attitude.
Just give the game and the developers credits where it's due instead of all you focus on is "bad this" "bad that". Inability and/or no patience to learn the game isn't a bug. Not all games will have a good tutorial or a tutorial at all. Looking at darksouls franchise and bloodborne.

It turned out that the ones wishing they could wash actually just wanted a washbasin... lol

The problem here is that they are pumping out DLC instead of fixing game breaking bugs and those DLC come with bugs included that make them unplayable, like the pet DLC that everyone recommends to disable because pets are so broken. This is unacceptable and should be scolded by players instead of putting a neutral stance like you, because that enforces devs to act like this.

Your points ARE valid, but since this isn't a bug post, but a request for clarification on game dynamics, a rant about how buggy the game is really seems out of place.

I think it is in place to rant about bugs, because this mentioned bathtub mechanic is buggy. Everyone will use the last bathtub that got placed instead of the one in their rooms, same goes for the changing stations.
