Red broken wheel symbol everywhere

How the heck do I solve this bs? It happens when I enter and exit the furniture menu.
It breaks everything and patrons cant enter becausw there are no seats.

Benches have now reversed orientation, the arrows must face outwards from the table, only then guests will sit down. That's new "feature" after AE. Never addressed anywhere yet ingame..
Other than that the red wheel usually means there's missing material to perform the task, like firewood for cooking or water in washing machine..

My arrows are facing outward and I still have the gears over the tables. I've tried turning them around, the gears don't go away. I'm wondering if that's why customers won't enter my inn. :( I haven't tried deleting them and putting new ones down. Trying that next.

EDIT: Deleting the tables and benches and putting new ones in fixed it. Go figure.

Yeah.I can understand why but it was frustrating because simply turning the benches didn't work. I had to delete them and rebuy them.

It seems to me that apart from just plain broken stuff that has to be repaired or refilled the red cog indicates an item that cannot be placed in the room it is in anymore after the update. Dishwashers have to be placed outside for example, same as rat traps. Guest and private rooms can't have chairs in them anymore (WTF?!?), Can't put a water barrel in the bath (again wtf?). No beds or chairs in staff room (seriously, Klabater?) and so on.
edit: To keep playing without this bs go to options and put a check at "allow all objects in all rooms". That should fix it.

You can solve that by removing room type restrictions in the options!
