wrong orientation of item. i seem to have bug - 180 reversed arrows orientation for table benches. I haven't gotten this far to have baths after AE, nor do i have older save with them.

Same, seems the orientation arrows are bugged. Try rotating the object, eventually it will work

If your talking about the red gear like symbol that is a resources needed symbol.

When you click the item with that symbol there will be a tab on the right with the same symbol. Clicking on that will tell you what's is wrong or missing.

I'm betting the employee's that can use the bar are busy or on break. Just a guess though

You need to make sure that while setting up the table it has to also match the direction. Otherwise, it will make benches to be placed in the other direction that the arrow shows.

my inn works perfect, im playing this one savegame since months, nothing here is broken or placed the wrong direction or anything else.
but i have like 30 gear symbols after the anyversery update?!? just remove this ♥♥♥♥ again pls!

Excuse me but no. Before AE the benches were oriented with green arrow pointing towards the table. And table has two sides for benches, even though its own green arrow (for whichever reason it is, that is unclear to me still.. no direction of service from maids or anything like that that i can see..). What i can clearly see now is when i place a table and then benches to the sides, it clearly highlights green the table once the benches are oriented away from the table. So which is the proper direction? OG or AE?
Beside that i noticed the same issue with Notice Board. Placed under my Inn as naturally fits (new campaign after AE) and after a while i noticed red icon - wrong orientation. I could not click on the board in the Furnishing mode whatsoever, no matter if i F5 F7 or went to Main Menu and loaded from there. Had to restart game to ALL OF A SUDDEN see the Notice Board having no problem. Strange behaviour..

The game switched the direction of the arrows for benches. So before you pointed the arrows towards the table, now they have to point away.

Changes like this seem so stupid to me. I wonder how good a reason it must have been to make everyone relearn this.

I feel like spamming, but it feels like accidental revert on devs part. Or they had not had the chance to update Tutorial printscreens yet. I saw the OG orientation of items in the early Camp tutorials.

I posted this same thing in bugs it started out of no where everything was running fine then one NPC got stuck outside the inn waiting to rent a bed. On a reddit post they showed a stuck NPC at the edge of the map waiting for a bed. So i think it has something to do with the AI pathfinding. Edit: added screenshot.

The red icon showed up after 2 mins of the game running with people still able to rent a room as seen in screenshot so I not sure why it say there is no staff available. When trying to delete the item with the Inn closed or open it says cannot delete item is occupied.

I am going to try and add in a bathroom to see if that has anything to do with it.
