yes, devs fcked up the bench orientation. does it show still arrows facing table in the prologue instructions?

I'm having this same problem and the benches are showing as facing the correct way :steamsad:

The arrows now point the opposite way when correct. No need to place them one way and then change them. So the arrows should be pointing away from the table to be clear.

I have that problem every time I place new tables+benches or when I load the game. Wait a few minutes and the red signs disappear

Also, if you place benches correctly (arrows outward) and save/load, the arrows will point all inwards after loading the game. Very annoying. Especially so for benches - whoever saw "outward facing bench" (with no rest) anyway?

Well I just purchased the game and this seems kind of scary now. A bug like this still exists over a year after the games released? Just ran into this myself and came searching here for a workaround.

Did you do the Tutorial it explains that the Bench is valid when the table lights up green.
(Arrows facing towards where customers come from)

I digress. The tables and chairs lit up green when the bench across face away from the table. I swear i read in multiple posts that the arrows needed to point towards the table.

Also, what the heck does the green arrow mean when placing a table?? one side of the table has 2 green arrows pointing away from it. the tutorial says nothing of it.

Bransor you're not crazy it was reversed when the Anniversary Edition came out so posts prior to that would have the opposite instructions.

This is an example of what I meant long ago with "inconsistency" when devs implied that one should be able to figure things out. With certain inconsistencies, your intuition is screwed up and it's not the usual exercise in "figuring things out".

A excellent and satisfying explanation..Thank you.
