Is There a Point to Sandbox?
I see this because event with cheats, sandbox mode suck balls. Good getting reputation up and keeping the patron satisfy. Even with enough employees they still says service is poor. Also, I notice when you unlocked certain abilities. What you are suppose to get with them in campaign mode are not available in sandbox mode. One example, unlocking guest room suppose to come with certain and amenities to attract traveler that would like to rest are not there.

To build the best inn that you can. There objectives to be met and optional quests.

not much different from most other strategy build/management games; which is to see how much you can build and how successful you can be. I try to see how much I can truly unlock and incorporate - which requires alot of grinding but if building and marveling at what you've done is inspiring as it is for me - then its a labor of love. While not perfect or the most advanced of the games - i believe its unique compared to most other "tycoon" games, and offers quite an extensive variety of features even at this stage already.

I read your statement but it does escape the fact that this game sandbox mode still need works. It the campaign your employees improvement does reflect on your fame accumulation sandbox does NOT. As I stated before, hen unlocking features that were SUPPOSE to come with the features are not THERE. In campaign if I unlock the guest room, it will come with beds for travelers, the storage box, and I think a banner or two. Sandbox mode such chain DOES NOT exist.

Which is extremely frustrating since it is breaking the immersion and forces to make all of these unwanted workaround. Which in turns increase even move frustration. I would not have an issue with the game in sandbox have unlocked features included what they were suppose to.

You wont see me argue this.

I firmly believe that concurrent work by the devs are making a difference and making it better. It's already entertaining to me - i'm looking forward to it working even better.

That because the fame mechanic does not follow your points progression at all. The most fame I could muster cheat or not is 8. Ironically you need fame to increase your upgrade points.

The fame based unlock mechanics are simply broken, not least because you can find most/all of the physical items on the world map anyway.

Fame also takes far too long to acquire.

An overhaul is definitely required.

I would not say Fame is broken but I do agree that it needs an overhaul.
