I already made sure the only things being served are for the distressed and I have several of the ceiling candelabras proving plenty of light.
Currently I just backstocked the crap out of everything and I am just letting it run for a while to see if maybe it just takes forever to start switching but so far no luck after about an hour.
When In doubt just look at your customers. What are their moods? Are your distressed leaving your inn with a positive mood? Are the outlaws also leaving with a positive mood? It might be worth serving outlaw food but jacking up the price so they they leave unhappy.
It's also worth noting that you do not even need to complete that task. You are given several tasks to ally with the couriers. You are only required to complete a couple of them, not all of them.
Everyone is happy when they leave despite not having the appropriate food and drinks for outlaws and travelers.
I got rid of all the beds in the guest rooms.
Next step I guess is to serve other stuff at jacked up prices.
I have no other objective other than the one to gain the favor of the distressed.
