that loan should pay itself if you advance in the story missions
if you're still having problems, then get the bard on stage to boost your tips and also tell your waiting staff to focus on speed so they get more tips for quick service
Even though the first loan "works itself out", I still needed more loans at other times.
What I had to do with loans, was to use a 2nd bank to borrow the money to pay back any remaining balance to the 1st bank, when the loan was close to being due.
That made it take even longer to pay back the loan, but I had money when needed and never had to worry about defaulting.
Also, you can adjust prices of the food and drink on the menu, to make a bit more.
also, once you complete the first portion, Martyn goes and retrieves about 22k from purchasing the property, so you dont really need to worry much about the loan
Also purchasing ingredients can't be automated and transportation can take a long time as well as being very expensive. So make sure to fill the whole cart whenever you buy stuff to avoid running out of ingredients every 5 seconds as well as wasting the money you need to expand on market fees. As a general rule I build a massive storage area where I keep at least 50 of all of the ingredients.
