Farming troubles

Ok so I gotta ask, do I have to keep telling my farmers what to plant? Because I can't tell if I do or if they replant what was there previously. Sometimes I have to, sometimes I don't, or at least I think, I can't quite tell.

You have to manually replant every time. They will never replant automatically. I suspect what you think is replanting is simply the normal growth cycle of plants. All garden plot plants, except cereal, require two full growth cycles before they can be harvested. Cereal requires three full growth cycles.

I should have guessed. I couldn't tell because the info still shows what you had planted making me think it was automated just broken
