How do i send an employee to Ricodi?

okay so am i just being dumb, or is there literally no way i can progress in this quest? I cant send anyone to Ricodi. There isnt even an option for it!!!

You need to buy a town crier and up your reputation there. you ca see how high your rep is by clicking on the magnifying glass once you've clicked in Ricodi

well Ive tried that, raised it to 100%, did the town crier thing, and still nothing! How do i send them to Rocidi????

Have you clicked on the recipe or the decoration icon in the city radial menu? Then have you actually selected a specific employee to send and then click the check mark?

Yes i have done the recipe and decoration thing, and i selected the employee i wanted to send there, but i didnt have a check mark or anything except what they should focus on in the inn. My game also keeps crashing now even though it didnt at all up until this point.

i have that screen if i want to get a recipe or decoration, but when i did that, i still didnt get notified that i completed the quest. I need to send an employee to Ricodi to gather rumours or gossip, but have no idea how.

I have the same issue. But after I sent my cook out to learn a recipe when I started out in that scenario, I haven't been able to send anyone at all. I can click on the learn recipe button, and a new window pops up, and that's where I normally choose who to send. But that window is completely empty as if I didn't have any employees.

the quest is bugged - After you give Alestro a room - he tells you to send an employee to there - it has to be a thug or crook. IF you for some reason load a save after he has tasked you to do this - and BEFORE you actually do it - the option to send an employee there might go away - go back to the autosave of the day before and try again.

So it basically seems my savegame on that questline is broken if i can't find an autosave before that? Another thing that doesn't save properly... Saving and loading games need to be fixed. Especially since it's one of the quickest ways to solve pathfinding issues by forcing to recalculate the paths.
Saving a game really isn't much of a thing yet it seems :/

This is for those just now coming to the game and having these same issues due to lack of instructions in the game.

Go through the checklist on the left, once he starts dialog and you end with sending a worker, go to the map, click on the town.

In the radial you will see "Get New Furniture", click that and you will see it is a ruse and related to the last visit for the countess. This will continue the quest.

I hired a guard, and just sent him.
Click furniture> send worker. The quest continues from there as normal.

I too lost time trying to figure this out, and had to do multiple forums
