Brewing Ale

I have been Brewing Lager without problem. Now able to brew Ale. But my Brewery seems to only produce Lager. Pressing Brew -> Ale does nothing Brew -> Lager brews Lager as expected. What am i doing wrong? Also Fried Sausage needs Sausage and onion I have both but it appears to need a grill? I searched world I see no grill. Wheres grill located? Thanks

grill is located in cooking tab, also make sure you have enough wood. Make sure you have the right components to create ale.

Thanks for reply. My cooking tab for some reason does not have a grill in it. I grow hops and multiple other crops. Isn't ale from hops?I looked for wheat but didn't see any listed. Appreciate your help.

Did you spend the fame point to learn ale? Also the menu tells you what you need. In my game (sandbox normal mode) both ale and mead are bugged and won't produce.

yes i did spend the Fame point to learn brew ale and it is listed as a choice on my brewery. Lager works Ale produces nothing. thanks BTW this is sandbox also

Ok, I think I resolved the Ale issue. Shortly after I spend a Fame on Outlaws I could produce Ale. Now just need to get that damn Grill issue resolved. Thanks to those helping

havnt seen the grill either - sandbox as well

which is weird because in the campaign its the starting cooking item along with the cauldron and the food it makes are low tier

I think its a bug and that you are suppose to start with it available

In my sandbox game I've seen the grill on the map several times. You need to open those trade routes and send someone to collect it when it pops. Hire extra drudges to remove all the items and new ones will be uncovered later on. (Even if you don't want or need them).

Thank you both. I started a second Sandbox last night in hopes Grill would be available, and again it was missing. My hope now was if i clear enough off map one would eventually show up. Looks like it will so there's hope.

There are many grills available. They are not in the kitchen stuff, they are at the outdoor stuff. Also most fireplaces can be used as a grill
