I thought it was for picking up the shotgun (as all the other weapons have one) but I can't get it to unlock.

EDIT: Nevermind it is for picking up the shotgun. If you already have 3 weapons, picking up another weapon doesn't unlock the achievement. Start a new game, and run down to pick up the shotgun first. Achievement popped for me.
