CreateProcess() returned 2

I can't start the game at all. An error windows pops open immediately and says that it can't start because CreateProcess() returned 2.

Well, think I know why! The What Never Was/WhatNeverWas/Binaries/Win64 folder is empty. I've tried checking the integrity of the files and one always fails but never seems to get repaired. I suspect that's the missing WhatNeverWas-Win64-Shipping.exe file mentioned in the error message.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi there! Sorry for the late reply to this.
It sounds like your suspicion is right, but unfortunately my suggestion was going to be to check the file integrity which you've already done.

Does a full reinstall work perhaps? Please let me know if it doesn't.

Nope, sorry, should have specified. After the integrity check failed several times I did a full reinstall. Same issue. File just isn't there.

Hello John! Sorry to hear that you're having this issue.
Please try downloading this file https://ackehallgren.com/WhatNeverWas-Win64-Shipping.rar and putting it in the What Never Was/WhatNeverWas/Binaries/Win64 folder.
Hope that sorts it. :)
