Hii, were you able to get the achievement? I can help you to get it. One simply needs to simple invite the other to play the game together (both player must have the game), so we connect Player 1 and Player 2, and we get the achievement.

Hey can someone help me get the achievement as well. I haven't finished the game yet but would like to get the achievement out of the way.

Trying this with PixZiro, but achievement did not pop. Does one of us need a controller? What type? I have an old PS3 controller, but that does not work.

PiXZiro figured it out! Here's what he did and I can confirm this works like a charm!

For pc-users / Steam it is offline co-op only. As a second player, one needs to have a controller. But fear not, there is another way!
Download the “Steam Link” app from your Appstore on your phone. With this app you can connect to Steam and by default Steam will relaunch in big picture mode. Open “Arise” and after it loads your phone display controls you can use them to navigate in the game. In the game menu, select the option to add keyboard as second player controls. The achievement pops as soon as you do this or use your phone as the controller and use your keyboard to change time.
