Using a laptop, had to tell the PC to use the gaming card not the intel one.

Depends on if you have a dedicated GPU and, if so, whether it's nVicia or AMD. For nVidia (which my laptop has), go into nViaid Control Panel.

Bumping so others see this in case they want to bother.
Still returning because that's just lazy programming on their end with no fix a year later.
Here's to Steam's generous return policy when companies sell half tested unsupported nostalgia grabs.
