Was forced to start a new game.
Hey there, I'm very sorry to hear you've been having some save/load issues. It seems like you may be having some crossover problems regarding the prologue save file and the full game save file. As above, I recommend that you delete the files found in this folder and start a new game:
C:\Users\(your windows username)\AppData\Local\Detective\Saved\SaveGames
It is a short jaunt back through Granville again and maybe you can approach some of the conversations a little differently along the way. Apologies for the inconvenience.
I can't actually find that folder on my PC, not in my AppData\Local\ folders anyway, and can't find the save files elsewhere. So I'll just start a new game and hope for the best.
I wish you luck! I have been stuck with a game ending bug and no response from devs. Seems like a lot of ppl had issues. I'm super bummed bc I loved the prologue and then when I bought the game I didn't get very far because of the game basically locking me at a specific part. So if you restart and it goes better let me know!
