Decided to leave this info here for the folks that care about price-to-playtime ratio. Normally I'd advise the devs to put important info like this in the product description, but considering what happened with Cozy Grove, people would rather read negative reviews over product descriptions anyway. Can't wait for this to get negative reviews of people complaining "it's too short" tomorrow.

That being said, I've heard some concerning things about the plot development of the later acts, so I'll be waiting for a sale. The $25 pricepoint is really ambitious, but I hope it pays off for the devs, considering the long development time. Good luck on release day, EggNut.

EDIT: People are saying it's actually 3.5-4 hours long, so I guess your mileage will vary.

Honestly the length of the game wouldn't be as much of a bother if they had stuck to their initial Kickstarter concepts. It feels like an entirely different game than what was initially announced and I keep thinking I must have missed something somewhere?

I personally don't have much problem with the game length. It was almost seven hours for me. It's just how badly the writing takes a dive after the first Act. And also the absolute linearity, utter lack of player agency, and lack over overall gameplay for the remainder of the game. It's an audio/visual feast hamstrung by its own writers.

Yea, this is why I decided to withhold my purchase after seeing the pre-release reviews, hearing the quality of writing takes a nosedive after the prologue. Now, seeing the actual Steam reviews pour in, it looks like my concerns were justified. What a shame.
