Spending 4 hours and getting 0 rewards from new event challenges

So I work like many other people, and on my day off I decide to grind the new season which sadly, is COVERED in these long grueling last spartan standing challenges when I don't even want any of that gear. I spend 4 hours, MY ENTIRE MORNING completing 50 last spartan standing kills, 10,000 player score, 10 back stabs and complete 4 matches and I only got 1 count ONE REWARD from the 4 matches challenge. This is ridiculous! 343 do you think we all have free time?! I have wasted 4 hours of my day grinding your new game mode which is now a bore because you force us to play it for challenges, and then you give us NOTHING when we complete them! Done playing halo for the day because of this crap. They need to give people some kind of in game currency or heck just instant XP for how frustrating this is and how much time they wasted for many of us. At least give us a chance to pick which event challenges we want! I had all 4 of those last spartan standing challenges AT ONCE nd it took FOREVER and got NOTHING. Somebody tell me I'm not the only one, I love Halo but hot d**n this sucked!
