Can I coop with my gf locally?

Just as the title says. I'm thinking bout buying so me and my gf can play while she's at my home. Hoping the game is not that hardcore either since she doesn't play that many games.

You'll need to play on two different systems. Some puzzles are designed around not being able to see what the other person sees, so splitscreen co-op isn't a thing.

Some puzzles are quite complicated, but she doesn't need to be a hardcore gamer to play the game.

Don't do it if you want your relationship to survive. We quit after the bridge puzzle because neither of us were having fun anymore and we wanted to still love each other later. Just saying.

Um... Split screen would kinda defeat the purpose of many puzzles, where you're supposed to talk to your partner and figure out what they're seeing.

Like, my partner was trying to describe what a sentient carrot looked like to me. "He's short, and has roots for feet, and has 3 hairs-"
"Does he have a mustache?"
"Yeah, that's him."
Turns out, that still wasn't a good enough description, because it was the wrong carrot. If I could've just peeked at his screen, the puzzle would've been trivially easy. :P

"Portal 2" is a great puzzle game with learn-as-you-go mechanics. It's pretty forgiving if you die, and it goes on sale a lot, so you could try looking into that maybe if you don't have 2 separate monitors for this game
