Why is flying to stars so slow?
I mean there are some starts without any connections. So you need to fly to them, but even with a good speed it takes minutes to reach. And you find some lame planets and need to return again.

Do I need to fly in deep space randomly to find other systems? I checked all the systems with wormholes and find nexus gates but then what? I still got the same plasma weapon for hours.

Any advises?

You've probably missed something somewhere. Did you return to base and check all the various crew for updated conversations? There are times you need to fly between stars but its fairly rare.

Yeah. I got 3-4 quests to do at quest log but I don't have any idea what to do about them.

A screenshot would probably help -- yer kinda asking for feedback with very little info for a game I haven't played in months. I do recall that several planets have exploration tasks that activate inactive gates in their system. After clearing the planets, be sure to fly close to any mysterious structures to force them to activate.

There are also spoilery pics of the explored galaxy floating around the steam forums if you get stuck and can't seem to figure out where else you might go.

I uploaded a Map SS, but I don't know how to link here. You can see at screenshots.

There should be some mission or artifact or something that sends you searching far to the Galactic East for your next bit of exploration. Have you tried talking to each alien species? Especially the guys that sell artifacts on that station. You're missing something that should point you to a new warp gate soon.

Also, is your ship optimized (and upgraded) for speed? You can get pretty fast with mid to late game upgrades.

I finished the game but needed to take many help for the quests.

Even with full research-tech- 8 engined ship is meh speed. At early and mid game, you clearly need to just do something else when you are waiting. Game is great. I enjoyed it but action was lower then expected, quests are hard to follow and that space between stars is just nothing there..

And you got the “deep space cruise” tech and activate boosters? I get 244 AU/sec in deep space. Only really long gaps take ages.

Thank you for your brilliant idea but I finished the game already. I already got tons of engines in the end but at early and mid game it's still too long.

eh well... its normal that you build up in games... or else game gets boring quick. so what ya saying you want everything from the start because if you find that slow then you aint made to play games like this at all. show some brainpower instead on penut power

I will be honest and bold with you. This is very stupid. I did not say that anywhere. I played this game for building up. I like that very much. But it does not mean that I need to fly in empty space for 5+ minutes. This is a game design/balance problem because it will show ck you but it gets boring when you just wait for 5 min without doing anything in a action based space sim.

I did not understand why you wanted to make a brainless reply to this topic.. maybe you got more penut more then you think.
