shield tech
can someone tell me how to find the shield tech research? i have completed the game a few times and still not been able to find shields

Solve the Starmap puzzle, found at the crashed survey ship. There's a solar system out there that contains the technology unlock.

The way to claim it changed in the current version 0.14, it was announced by the devs.

havn't made a new playthrough so don't know where it is

You now get it from a Planet Anomaly: Bubble Planet.

Location spoiler: I found it around 41.43 x -27.05

Requirements spoiler: Make sure you're saving up the Adamantine I think it cost me 75 or so.

Planet is called: "The Bubble".
Located for me: 19.55 x -52.46
