I flew 40,000 au.
Yes, when you visit your station you should get a message from the engineering guy who tells you that they picked up a transmission from that location, this unlocks a nexus gate in the sector. I'm not sure what triggers this message.
While general idea of look at roughly 120 degrees apart from other 2 doesn't give enough precision - I tried and failed to find it like this.
In retrospect, though, the Ulooquo had new Knowledge to trade for, one of which included the location of the Nexus. In theory if I had started revisiting all the previous races I would have been able to discover that on my own, but I'd already had to do that a few times for several other bottlenecks so it didn't occur to me to check that "things for knowledge" option again.
I assumed they're in triangle formation, so I went to the mirror coordinates on the left.
I guess the top one is somewhere at (0, yyy) so I went north following the central axis...
Thought I was smart, but no, game hates me... no luck finding both...
I don't want to use the coordinates replied above, unless no other options...
So... are there any hints (with minimum spoiler)?
That line of thinking worked for me. Are you sure you searched thoroughly enough?
Yea, searched 1 grid around of my calculated coordinates...
But my calculations are based on two assumptions, 1. Equilateral triangle, 2. They're pointing exactly at (0,0)
If those 2 are not true.. then I don't know where to start...
Damn, that answer above is way more tempting than the "one ring"
