BLACK SCREEN ISSUE...HOW TO FIX?

The game seems working good but I have always a black screen instead of the videos (audio is working and the menu of choices as well. How can I fix the problem? (apparently the drivers are fine and in the dedicated folder I can see the videos with VLC).

I have the same problem with both Super Seducer games. I think my laptop either doesn't have codexes needed to play the game or my laptop doesn't meet minimum requirements. My Specs are

AMD Dual-Core Processor A9-9420 with Turbo CORE Technology up to 3.6 GHz
AMD Radeon 520 with 2 GB Dedicated VRAM
8 GB DDR4 Memory 1000 GB HDD

Hey there,

For those still having black screens issue (potentially on both SS1 and SS2), you might have a Windows N or KN version (right click on start menu > System in order to verify).
If you're in that case, just go on Microsoft site and search for Media Feature Pack. This will install missing components needed to read somes videos.
The boring thing is that some windows updates tend to "cancel" that feature, so it might not work in the future until a new version is released.
I've had the same issue on GTA5 : every 5 or 6 months I had to download the new version or reinstall existing pack again.
Last available version for windows 10 was released in April, I just installed it and everything's working now.
I hope it will help some people here and/or dev team.

What if you don't have Windows 10 N and KN versions. I have Windows 10 Home Edition. How do you fix that?

Richard, this has been the same issue with my version of the game and also the first super seducer.

Maybe make sure you're game runs properly before selling it? 🤷‍♂️

My Solution was:
Delete the Folder "SuperSeducer2" on C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\LaRuina
So on the game is running fine now.
I think the last fix as removed the false subtitle entries - but if you have select one of them before the update its broken the game settings

I did this and worked, but now my game doest updates anymore to more Language options, i have tried Verify integrity of game, install again and nothing....

Installing MediaCodecPack worked for me. (watch out, he will try to sneaky install opera navigator)

Hi everyone. There must be something with the graphics drivers. I tried to disable all my graphic drivers and were left with generic php monitor, then the program works fine(so there is both picture and sound) but it is too slow so there is this disruption. I also tried updating my amd driver. First when i tried to update it with amd auto update from the amd site the game did not work, after that I uinstalled the drivers, and tried updating it via windows, then it worked for a day and doesnt work again. I also tried to contact developers at [e-mail], but the mail was not delivered.

Guys, thanks for posting some things that worked for you to solve this. Although I'm totally happy to pay the developers for extra work to fix any and all issues with the games, this one has eluded them. They say that the sheer variety of possible configurations means that some people will have issues.
