(I RECOMMEND THE GAME WITH CAUTION!!!) THE GOOD The game is good and its definitely has a lot of potential. the game is playable and a lot of fun but there is a limited amount of equipment you can buy. the graphics are ok there not a potato but you defiantly aint getting 4k. id wait for the game to go on sale but i wouldn't say that the game isnt worth the full price of 12.99. now heres the bad. the community is small and i have never seen a player online aside from my friends. here is the BAD/WORRYING the discord community is still here. not alot of activity but there is still life under the ruble. from what i have seen and read the developers are AWOL and have no signs of returning no one has seen or heard from them since October of 2021 and has removed them selfs from some of there discords and social medias.

This game is, in my opinion, the best tornado game out currently. I've had this game for some time and have enjoyed it thoroughly. This game, when i first got it, had many cons regarding damage, tornado size, tornado speed, supercell formation, etc. Now don't think this game is bad because of a few cons because there are many pros to this game like being one of the only, if not THE only, game where you can chase or be a tornado. You can also do it with random people from across the world or friends. But back to the point, with this new update a lot of those cons have been for the most part eliminated. but I still have a few concerns that I hope the developer can take into consideration on the next update.

Tornado damage is the most talked about things when it comes to tornadoes with no doubt, it's what everyone thinks when they see a tornado on the news. In this game the damage is there but not as realistic. Now I'm not saying I want it to be perfect but, it is scuffed. in reality, EF-1 damage will tear off parts of a roof if not the whole roof on weak/old homes, but in the game, it takes EF-3 intensity to damage the roof. That is a major difference between reality and this game. I understand that in order for this game to be smooth it can't focus so much on the little bits of damage but what I'm saying is that EF-1 intensity should be good enough to cause some noticeable damage to a roof. And EF-2 intensity should definitely destroy a roof and parts of weak areas, not EF-3. Also, EF-4 damage doesn't really leave much standing but a bunch of rubble on top of a foundation with present floorboards in real life. In the game it will leave some walls standing which is what EF-3 damage should be, not EF-4. I have nothing bad to say about EF-5 damage in this game because it is amazing and very accurate and you can tell that time was put into it to make it this way. That is what i have to say about the damage in this game. Keep in mind that this is not me disliking this game because this game is phenomenal, this is just some things that i wish would be fixed in the next update.

Now onto my next concern regarding this game, tornado speed. In the game tornadoes move extremely slow, like extremely slow. It'll take an EF-5 10+ minutes (IRL) to get from Byrun to Corwan (fictional towns in the game). this is extremely inaccurate because most tornadoes move at a steady 30-40 mph and some go way faster. The fastest documented tornado ever was the infamous Tri-State tornado which was moving at an astonishing 73 mph. Some would say (including myself) that the Pilger, NE tornado is the fastest tornado ever moving at over 90 mph (if you want more information about this, check out the video from well renowned storm chaser/YouTuber Pecos Hank on his "FASTEST MOVING TORNADO - New World Record" video). Although the slowest F5/EF5 was the Fargo F5 moving at around 10 mph this is likely never going to happen on an EF-5 tornado ever again. That is what i have to say about tornado speeds in this game.

This is the most technical one yet with Supercell formation. In real life, most tornadoes come from one specific type of supercell. This is a Supercell with a hook-like formation visible on radar. I'm not going to get into depth on why this is because that would take a lot of unnecessary explaining. Also, I think it would be cool if base velocity radar was added to the game to show when, where, and if a supercell has tight rotation. That is mainly all i ask for when it comes to supercell formation/radars for this game.

Now its time to talk about how this game has improved. This update has brought so many improvements to the game its unfathomable. one issue I had was with damage. and it was the amount of left over debris. Before, debris was just gone... vanished like it never existed. Even when their was debris left over it was a very minimal amount and it looked very strange. Now, interior has been added and it has caused their to be a large amount of debris and it looks very realistic. Now, debris is lofted far far away but has some debris left where the house/building got hit. You can see debris from Wakota after a high-end tornado hits Corwan. Also, the buildings that were in Wakota used to never have anything happen to them even when an EF-5 tornado slams it with all its strength, now, they take damage as well which has added to the realism in this game. The visuals in this game used to be very bland and pedestrian but now, the homes and buildings look so much better and homes are genuinely enjoyable to look at. Another thing about the homes is the new addition of interior which i have already talked about prior to now. Man, the interior is a sweet sweet addition to this game that makes such a difference. now, whenever you want to rest in your house for a certain number of hours, you can actually go inside to do it. Also, you have a laptop inside your house where you can see if any storms are forming on the map that you could go check out.

Now I am just going to talk about some separate things that i would enjoy being added to the game. One thing that would be really cool to add to this game is SPC OUTLOOK risks. Such as "Enhanced risk with a 15 percent hatched risk for tornadoes" or whatever. This would decide how strong an outbreak is that day. if you're in a marginal risk with a 2% chance for isolated tornadoes, tornadoes would be weak and very uncommon whereas if you are in a high risk with a 65% hatched risk for tornadoes, tornadoes would be very strong and frequent. Also another separate con that i would like to point out here is the fact that barns are quite literally on god mode and cannot be damaged no matter what intensity you are at. i think that Barns should take noticeable damage from an EF-1, severe damage from an EF-2, and complete destruction by an EF-3 to be more realistic. One little con as well which i dont think is worth its own paragraph is tornado size. For the most part, this problem is fixed and its the most bearable con in the game because tornadoes are still at respectable sizes, i think that EF-4's and EF-5's should be a tad bit bigger, especially EF-5's. I also think that the map should be a bit bigger with more towns or Corwan, Byrun, and Wakota should be expanded a little bit to make them more realistic town sizes.

But let me tell you, this game is very much worth the money spent on it and it is just a great game with lots of enjoyment. I hope everyone that loves tornadoes as much as i do checks this game out because it is really just a work of art and its even more appreciatable when you learn that this game is made by one person.

TL;DR - game is very very good with some minor, bearable cons and some great pros

Easily a game that will go on a long way. For a game developed by a single person it is incredible just how realistic the weather looks and feels. I do recommend this game to anyone who loves weather and tornadoes.

Its the only good storm chasing game I could fine anywhere.
