Wishlist OUTBRK On Steam instead

Unfortunately, since there has been zero updates for awhile. I have been following a continuously active, and extremely hard working Storm Chasing game that is looking VERY promising.

To those who are into this genre and are looking for more. Search OUTBRK on Steam and Wishlist. God willing, the game does get released. It looks to be this game, but on major steroids.

[UPDATE | 07/2023] 0.9 has released and for the time being, the dev is back! Let's hope it stays that way.

OutBrk has already been updated more times than Storm Chasers and it's not even released yet. LOL

It's stuck in perpetual development state though if you have been watching. If I can't play the game before I'm dead, honestly what's the point? People are going to forget about it or move on if they never get around to releasing it and it's like they don't get what early access means. This is a scenario where it would probably help to have something versus nothing and a "well this might exist someday that we won't ever tell and maybe another five years" as that's what it's looking like anymore. It's a huge tease as of yet and until they actually let the public play anything because it's been a carrot on a string for literally years now with nothing tangible.

Well I found a second Option, and just like OUTBRK, it's not ready to release.. At least not yet.. But You might know the developer once i give you a game name..

The Name of the Game is Tornado Research and Rescue.. And if you look at the name of the Developer.. It's someone we all know all too well. After all With his practice, he might have a better shot at delivering a game rather than Little Cloud Does Currently. But it's more of a Single player game currently, but.. Who knows.. If we are patient and are willing to wait, who knows what might happen on this one..

Like I said the Name of the game is "Tornado Research and Rescue... And from what i can tell it looks pretty nice in the videos.. But Hey, I'll wait for OUTBRK to develop as well. I have a feeling that the devs on Outbreak are getting close but they need to tweak it a bit more..

Other than that, I've reloaded Stormchansers.. But I give little hope on this game unless Little Cloud Comes back..(if he comes back).

Well, it looks like he is perhaps back. Video posted to their YouTube 3 hours ago as of writing this. Showcasing Free Roaming. Let’s hope they’re a little more active!

I haven't seen where this was mentioned, but even so. With the size of the project, I'll happily wait 2 more years. There's a lot of passion behind with how open they are with the community in their discord regarding every Trello update, question feedback, gameplay showcasing, private beta's for testing.

After some of the "Triple A" stuff we get nowadays that are rushed beyond belief for $70. I fully support and will be patient for small dev team, passion driven games.

Now if it goes on for too long... That's a different story. But for now, I'm hopeful and see potential.

While I do enjoy 0.9, I personally am still more hyped for when OUTBRK comes out due to the sheer size and scale of the project. Since behind the scenes has made more progress in 5 years than this game has in 3. Unless the dev goes absolutely crazy with development and updates and adding more to the team. I don't see too many players focusing on this title too much once OUTBRK does release.

Tornado: Research and Rescue though... I agree there. That game is an absolute miss for me. And I actually think that dev should assist in this game again, even mod wise (unless they left for a reason other than Little Cloud being MIA).

a game that isnt even released to the public and will probably be wroked on for 30 years and finally be released
