i play realistic and realistically you cant full cab flip on ground without deafult settings. i turned them on just to get through that mission. it doesnt make sense to land all that in a line but i realized you just dont fall go slow and you get it if youre talking about the switch one outside the shop. it was hard to play on default and not bc of difficulty but bc the game felt like i was floating and could ollie my height at any point lol. people complaining about the update need to play the game on realistic settings and see how much its a simulator than what theyve played so far.

you should have known that your gonna have to unlock stuff again, just play the missions most of them are easy and you can unlock most ♥♥♥♥ in less then a hour

i am fine if they remove that in the full release. but for a test branch it is utterly stupid to do so.

I love where you guys are going with this. I've been playing for 2 days and I'm impressed over what it used to be. I am getting a FATAL ERROR crash when I try to save a replay on the mission where you Meet Beagle and learn to use the camera. It happens consistently and I cannot proceed with the story.

"Wacky Wavy arm flailing inflatable tube man" can we not just have this as an added option to keep enabled?

Graphical improvements are nice, text based career is very annoying but I guess gives a bit more of a reason to play, other than that it's still a sluggish, awkward experience. The only real benefit of Session over other skate games are fairly realistic looking replays, but getting to that point is just tedious with little actual fun to be found. Might be worth going way back to the drawing board and tweaking the engine to provide a responsive physics based experience rather than feeling like it triggers preset animations seconds after input.

What the ♥♥♥♥ happened to this game? It was sooo good in the beginning - after one of the first big updates it only got worse every patch. Wish I could refund.

I finally decided to really get into session after this update. I gotta say the game feels amazing after a bit of a learning curve ( I used to skate so not too long ). Also looks great. Please don't listen to the haters, people don't seem to understand how much time working on a game takes. There's obvious passion that went into it and it shows, fok those who can't see it. I believe in this team of devs and I'm convinced you'll bring a good product eventually. No need to rush it.

Meh, still feels like a bag of trash. Anything that matters in this update, ie actual improvements related to the skating are rather trivial and should not have taken 6+ months to achieve.

why did you take time to write this? no one cares

please put back in the option, give me all my stuff back.
I just want to skate around instead of doing all the missions.
Love the game tho.

any settings I can use to make this better?

Use manual rotation mode to input and you can let it go mid turn in air to let it finish the rotation smoothly

Session is more advanced, challenging and realistic. On the contrary, you have more control on the board in this. It is buggy for now, yes, but it's because of detailed and more advanced physics, and it will be fixed by time. Skater XL is only hard when it's modded. You can try to tweak difficulty for decrease manual managing and more auto settings if you want it to be more like skater xl

you most certainly have way more control in xl. dont know what game you're playing lol. also what physics? only time i see physics in session is when i grind. there's a reason primos and darkslides are in "experimental" right now. it's because you aren't catching based on physics. you're catching after an animation plays. please show me a primo slide without primos being "enabled" in the menu. that would be true physics if i've ever seen them. this game doesnt have that. huge flaw for a simulation. this game is much more like tony hawk.

skater xl is still better than this. this update was suppose to have flow but it doesn't feel like skateboarding yet. i still feel like i dont have much control over my movements and tricks. i still pop off the front foot. i still flick to catch. all these annoying things, i just dont like. please make this game fun so i can have something other than abandonware XL to play in my free time.

Yes, it shows how much you know about it when you say : "Session is much more like Tony Hawk". Skateboard gaming community Skater XL devs will laugh a lot to that. I am not wasting my energy for a troll like you. I already explained a lot with details, but you can't even answer to those.

tony hawk, i do an input and watch the animation of the trick play out on screen. in session, its the same thing. what are you on about bro? lol

buddy listen, it's just factually not an animation. a) turn on manual catch b) desync flip from scoop and c) move the sticks in the air. if it was an anim these things would be brderline impossible, in the case of desync flips/scoop literally.
