Controller weirdness
Does anyone else get controller weirdness at times? Like inconsistent scoop speed to the same input, unresponsive double tap reverts (no change in sensitivity settings)?

Or probably the weirdest to me: when on the ground and inputting a 50-50 (for lip tricks I guess), with an XBox controller, the character crouches down (like hill bombing), but with a PS4 controller, the character stands up straight. In both instances they behave the same (tail or nose scrapes if you let go of one stick), but they're animated different.

How are you connecting your Xbox controller to your PC?

I always play connected both with the Xbox and PS4 controllers.

make sure you cap the game at 60 fps, anything over that and the game breaks.

Are these official first party controllers? When using official xbone/series or ps4/5 controllers I haven't experienced any weirdness, but I have a lot of controllers and when I've tested some third party (or "off brand") xbox controllers the joysticks have had bad behavior where it seems like the precision is a lot less than the official controllers, even though the steam input controller test shows the joysticks response being perfectly fine. But it seems session reads the controllers differently than the steam input which doesn't even make sense.

It's on the game's hectic physic and predictiv fails.
Even with the £200 nacon controler, it would still be inconsistent.

You're touching with the thumbs the limit of their sim. Sometimes it's working tho

Do you play with both Controllers plugged in at the same time? If so, this can cause issues with many Games. I always have to unplug my Rudders, Yoke, HOTAS, and even TrackIR and Tobii in some cases as the inputs don't behave the same.

But yes, on the first problem, I do get weird input differences with Scoops mainly, not so much Flip tricks.

Yeah, I've had tons of weirdness with the controls just refusing to accept inputs. Like, on flat ground, not moving at all and I'm pressing A/X or pushing down on the back foot stick and nothing's happening. I've tried it on two different PCs with two different controllers (wired 360 pad and 8bitdo Ultimate wireless) and on steamdeck. It usually starts happening after about 20-40 mins of playing or so, most often after respawning to a marker, but not always, and control will often come back after hammering Y for a bit. Three different systems, three different controllers, they all do this. I've also had significantly delayed inputs, like up to a couple of seconds between pulling down on the stick before the character goes into a setup animation. Restarting the game will usually fix this for a while but it inevitably comes back.

I've also had issues with the 8bitdo where prepping for ollies/nollies will register as manuals even though the stick is firmly pulled all the way down. I was able to replicate pretty reliably by popping a trick to manual, popping out, and then setting up for another trick which would register as a manual every time. If I didn't do the trick to manual first, it wouldn't do it. It also happened reliably on the Daewon Song rock mission where every time I would set up for the half cab after pressure flip, it would go to a nose manual until I shut the game down and restarted.

I don't have controller issues with any other game I've played on Steam. If there's some fix or workaround, google wasn't showing it to me. I gotta say, its pretty frustrating having these kinds of controller bugs for a game that requires extremely precise controller inputs
