Some updates from the Crea-ture discord

Following the chat and community content deletion this past september, and reducing the discord to a FAQ, any questions about the game gets locked, often without an answer. Sometimes the community have a chance to answer the questions, but as soon as the community manager Donovan is back at work, the answers get deleted, and the post locked. So far the only way for us to comment on what Donovan/the devs say, have been posting reactions to their replies. As of today, this possibility was also removed. On top of that any critisism of this and the game is promptly deleted.

The handling of this game and the community has gone all downhill since they sold out and Nacon acquired the studio. The only place they are interested in posting news about the game is Instagram and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. And even that isn't news anymore.

As everyone here knows, on the "Events & Announcements" tab here on Steam, the last pinned posts are THREE YEARS OLD.

This game is dead and irredeemable in my eyes. I recommend checking out SkateLab in the meanwhile, or FakeSkate, whenever that releases. The early access for skate. is also on the horizon.

and for anyone wondering about throwdowns and multiplayer, the devs have stated that they are not planned, and will not happen, respectively.

This abject behavior doesn't even surprise me...
I can imagine the frustration of those who remain at creature studio... who have gone to the dark side because of nacon.

There are no remains at NACON, Tuco... anyone with two and a half braincells hauled S outta there asap.
And Donovan? Don´t get me started on that tool...
Only thing I´ll make f-ing sure, is to take notes, screenies etc. just so I never ever stumble over a game and, god forbid, perhaps pay for it, in which any of these past and current devs and NACON are involved...

just wow-ed that NACON is going along with this BS while PAYING these bozos month after month... I think I´ll apply at NACON too...

I warned people about Nacon and got mocked.
This game could have been SO MUCH, but then that happened.
And then the devs started acting like asses and silencing any dissent. I got banned from their Discord years ago for calling out their bullsh!t.
And now I read this sad news. Just .... Wow.
So much wasted potential.

Fyi if Nacon buys a game/dev, its over. They will stop producing quality content and only produce content they can sell as MTX. Nacon is a garbage company with garbage products. Think of them as the EA of indie devs. Luckily if you are crafty enough you can get all the DLC for free, ♥♥♥♥ you can get almost all dlc on steam(and epic) for free, just need to know where to look. Enjoy!

Yes what is this update for? Exactly, nothing, just lining up files for another garbo MTX cash grab. Games dead. If you have been following the development the game died the moment the Nacon announcement happened.

Actual update download is 6.9MB and just removes stuff from the game (deck graphic with a bad word is the only change reported so far?). If it were anything meaningful, there would be patch notes and details.

Steam now reports patches in terms of size of files on the disk that's being adjusted, so it's very misleading with stuff like this until you actually start the download. Just a small tweak to a large .pak afaik.

From what I saw mentioned elsewhere, there is another board graphic deleted from FTP.
Because of a bad word? It's the title of the board you added in the first place, so why? This is whats wrong in this day and age! Or maybe I'm just getting old and don't want anything to have with it.

They can stop now deleting stuff. It's better the other way around, to add something good.
