Who designs these maps??
These maps are insanely retarded, why isn't there any stock standard local council funded skatepark map. The closest you get is the Central Park map and that is quite flawed. I feel like the main reason its so hard to get and keep a line is because there is no design flow in the maps at all and seemingly set up to have the most possible collisions possible, thats hardly game design for challenge, thats game design for annoyance.

problem is, even if we had good skateparks, the follow cam is so sluggish it ruins every line where you have to make a turn. crea-ture fix your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game before you make a new one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
You can let the cam follow you, just like you like it. I have my cam set on my board, when I grind it goes to a different angle. Left and right of the screen, you can set everything like you want it to be. The original map spots are made 1:1 scale. I can't defend this because I don't live there. But there is a reason they never ever did this again after with the dlc.

i was referring to the follow cam being slow at turning left to right. even at max setting, if you do a sharp turn, the follow cam will slingshot to the other side of the skater, and return behind the skater very slowly
this is a skateboarding about 90s-mid 00s skateboarding.

park? skatepark? you find those here and there if you are lucky.

your c** is all OVER this place. You can't even hold out for a product that is actually not trying to take advantage of its former customers? What is wrong with you?
Say what you want about the direction/progression of development, but the (built in) maps are all pretty good. Most of them based on real locations. This isn't a Tony Hawk game where there's a particular level design based around the mechanics. This is a street skating game, and the streets and spots we have available are pretty good. You have to think like a street skater, which is kinda the whole point.

yeah I bought some DLC, the paid maps are significantly better LOL. kinda scummy but I guess there are good maps
there's mods out there...plus we have object dropper...create your own spots

wtf are you talking about? These maps have real life locations. Everything is skateable. Maybe you just lack creativity and don't enjoy the realism. Go play Skate or Tony Hawk if you want crazy maps.
