so, yes, 25 years in the industry, with 20 of them being not working in the industry at all?
the man was given bonus credit at best. some honorary mentions, cause when you actually analize the teams he was on for the games he was on, he isnt mentioned anywhere,
bonus credit at best.
I never claimed they had that experience under Creature, why would they? Creature was created by them as a indie studio.
Mah worked at Ubisoft, Warner Bros games and Eidos interactive before Creature and Vic worked for Warner bros games.
You can easily look up their work history from LinkedIn.
OG devs left the game long ago, it's now at least 10 man team (other 9 working on the second project).
yes, i and i actually dove into their creations.
they are glorified bug testers at best.
what they say their credentials are, and what companys and projects give them credit for is another thing.
i took credit for a lot of projects growing up. doesnt mean i actually worked on or contributed to those projects in any meaningful way.
why is it the only real evidence you can find of thier work history, is on their own publications?
when people have real accomplishments, its easier to actualyl point them out,
besides self accredited things on sites like IMDB
That true? For such a long time people kept saying Session wasn't getting gameplay improvements, fixes, animation updates etc. because they're switching to UE5 and doing all of that there.
Now UE5 is out and maybe the next few updates will have some gameplay fixes.. that's it? Is there any indication of how much is actually coming? I stopped caring about what happened with this game long ago.. but this sounds like the worst outcome possible for this game, though not entirely shocking considering the dev history here.
They could have been updating this game all this time while doing these small dlcs, even minor tweaks and improvements along the way can go a long way to making things feel and play better, also helps players stay engaged by keeping them constantly coming back to check out the new stuff. More activity would also lead to more dlc sales, too.
The whole UE5 thing now winds up sounding like a total bs excuse for the lack of any and all game updates to the current UE4 version. I guess we'll see just how much they've actually been doing when these upcoming patches arrive. Can't say I'm expecting much.
Sad!
Many such cases!
If you were "teased" about UE5... then it just shows that you are a gullible moron as anyone who has common sense knew there was a high chance they wouldn't have succeeded.
When are you actually going to understand that their skill isn't that high, and you should only take what they say with a grain of salt?
Sometimes I think you just torture yourself.
It was in almost every reply on instagram
It was in their dev blog
Not my fault you are ignorant of that
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
"heh jokes on you for reading what the developers have been saying on social media for for the last 9 months"
I swear, you just like to argue bro.
No argument here and indeed I am ignorant on their Instragram or Tweeter or what ever the fk they use, I simply just don't care that much, nor even have any accounts with that trash, no shame there. However it's just common sense that simply because they "tease" something, doesn't mean it will come together so easily.
You only have to look at the last update they did on the Object Dropper... it's absolutely terrible... Something so simple couldn't even be improved, and imo went backwards in many area's. So if they couldn't even improve something so basic, then I highly question why people would have such high hopes for it.
Even if UE5 was still in full swing, I know there would be a ♥♥♥♥ storm to follow with many more issues, many more Forums post, and many more tears.
Take it all with a grain of salt, and no one would be disappointed except the people who have too much hope in Developers who haven't shown a great deal of skill to get hyped over.
I'll always be "we'll see what happens", as that's literally what everyone should be doing. If they say something, wait and see.
yeah, they teased it for 3/4 of a year...you cannot blame people to actually believe their sermons...and now it´s lemons again...
"silence is golden" is something those bozos should really start taking to heart... in other words, they should STFU until the have something to show...but since they have next to nothing..."UE5!" it is...
same old, same old...
Untalented part I can agree with, how so with being scammers though?
Those are very valid observations and if there is any term that, in the past(now it is more of joke), to get people to buy into something it was "AAA".
Believing a "promise" from someone you have never met(and never will) is just 101 of being a idiot. To be honest, it took me a while to get there. Also.
Just get there. Save your money. Maybe you will have a serious need for it somewhere down the line. In the real world. Don't forget about that one.
Takes a true adult to admit to this. Welcome to the club.
