Report a translation problem
This is a frustrating way to play though. I have even gone to YouTube to see how others managed to get some missions to register.
Another problem is that the mission descriptions, I mean the "grind and flip out" for example, are often not accurate, since they don't always say which stance - for example, when it says "flip out" often switch flip tricks won't count, and the "rating" (? not the right word, not my native lang) of what a "flip" is sometimes is different to other times - for example in some missions (I noticed this especially with the dailies/weeklies) shuv-it's count as flip tricks, and in some missions they don't ...
I'd say, stick to trying over and over (also try different tricks in different stances) until you get the missions done.
Then, turn off trick detection asap and just have fun skating.
Man, the skating in the game, finding a spot you never noticed (still happens to me after ~250(?) hours), or building some spot on your own, is the absolute best. But the missions (especially the story ones) suck ass.
Good luck, and don't give up! (or just ignore the missions :D)
