Framerate Unlock
Is there a way or a plan to unlock the frame rate? I noticed the settings menu only goes to 120hz even with vsync off.

Stick to 30 or 60 because 120 doesnt not work as intended and can be problematic.

I know this is an old post, but is it still accurate? I've got a 175hz G-Sync monitor, but I know the game is limited to 120fps. What problematic about running the game at 120fps G-sync?

Yes, it is still accurate. Running the game with 120 Hz caused me not to be able to do reverts. Besides that the game ran fine with 120 Hz. I guess you could always go to 60 Hz when a mission requires to do reverts but I gave up on that and just run it on 60 Hz.

I don't really do missions though. I did a few to buy some Zero boards and build a deck, and get some new clothes, but otherwise I mostly just enjoy free skating around. I'll take your advice on this though when/if I decide to start doing "missions"

120 fps mode messes with the physics, such as the flip speeds. i instead put it on 60 fps mode and if i want more frames i use Lossless Scaling frame gen to get 120 fps (2x frame gen), or you could use 3x frame gen for 180 fps. (or 4x mode for 240 fps although that mode is pretty much only for 240hz screen users)

Awesome thank you! This does indeed seem to be the solution. I've set it to 60fps in-game, put Lossless Scalling into 2X for 120fps in-game and the flip speed doesn't seem to break. Good stuff, thanks again.

Are those settings in the game or is that something GPU specific? I cant find anything related to losless scaling in game.

It's an app you can buy on steam called "Lossless scaling" It basically allows you to add frame generation to any game.

I see, thank you.
