The explanation for removing Legacy controls is total bs.

Devs are out of touch and the community has become more toxic to justify their behavior.

Ya'll just don't want to admit that you got bamboozled.

Here's my review.

We got bamboozled.

They only introduced legacy controls to artificially increase the player base and justify the price increases.

Game is dead which is why all new content will be locked behind DLC.

Save your money. Don't support sh itty devs and a toxic community.

This game gets worse as time goes on. First it was the physics, now the controls.

Prior to the "1.0" release, they had Legacy controls which is one of the main reasons a lot of people played the game. Legacy controls were the same setup from the EA Skate Games.

Check out the forums and the negative reviews. The devs literally gave no reason as to why they were removing a major feature. They didn't ask the community which would have told them the exact opposite.

The community has become super toxic and elitist.

Save your money. Don't support sh itty devs and a toxic community.

The 1.0 release is a cash grab. I paid 15 bucks for the game and there is literally no content! Now they want you to pay 15 dollars for a single map. Do these guys think they are Paradox with the DLC fest?

Session is the game Skater XL wants to be when it grows up. Imagine playing skate on the pc but with better graphics and more controls. This is that game. Legacy mode is key for getting that "skate" feel.

hehe, for the 1.1, i was expacting a nice collision bug removed, but look like these dev doin t know how to make good gameplay feel.

I play by default since the release, by default before the early acces popping on steam.

and excuse me, as real skater, session is every thing exept a skateboard simulation.

In fact, skater Xl have maybe doing wrong choice by removing modding, but in fact, it simul better the skateboard feeling.

I don t speak about the supporter pack, 12$ for owner.

Hahe: go beat yourself.

Unfinished product+ cash grab, i return on skater Xl, not open world, no quest, but more realistic and enjoyable to play.

The only good thing in session is thee motion capture, rest is poop

I'm sorry which part of this makes the game actually smooth and enjoyable to play? Oh right none of it because this game is clunky trash.

Dude - why are the NPCs more lifeless compared to Skate 2 which came out a decade ago? Like - why are there so many skaters here, but they all got the same feeling and it boils down to just a different skin? Why is it called 1.0 when there are so many features missing or others that were endeared have been scrapped? What about vert? What about party games? Come on - this game needs more time in early access and to just go ahead and release this as a 1.0 is a bad move, at least to some people it causes unrest and an unpleasant feeling alongside with it.

What about just the ability to roll around and have it feel like a smooth modern video game and not like some 16 year olds school Unity project. The 'game' doesn't even have that.
