Double hardflip the way I do it: start a normal hardflip and hold the front foot a little longer for the extra flip.

You mean auto catch? I use auto catch.

There is a specific input for 360 hardflips, you just do a 180 curve with the backfoot stick instead of a 90 degree.

Tornado flips, just hold your front foot stick in position and let it spin! You need double flip mode on for this in settings

Yes but he asked about double hardflips, which the game will display as such if trick name display is on. These can be done by initiating a normal hardflip and holding the front foot direction longer. There's no limit - it can even be triple all the way up to "CRAZY hardflip" which I think is 7 and above.

For a Nightmare Flip, go to advanced settings and turn off flip/scoop sync and turn flip speed way up. Scoop speed doesn't currently work afaik. You're gonna do the input for a 180 scoop and flip the board fast af. You'll have to figure out the right flip speed because with syncing off it's going to be hard to make sure the board is facing up after the 180. You're also gonna have to release both sticks really fast because with manual catch on (which you will need to do this) it will try to catch the board after a single flip if you have either stick engaged. Then just try to catch the board after the second flip. It's gonna take practice and a lot of luck.

Unfortunately this is currently the only way to do it. Thankfully you can reach the adv settings menu just by holding start, so it's not too much of a hassle. I use that menu constantly anyways. Pretty much every time I try a new line, I have to change something to make it a bit more doable.

Excuse me, what? Thank you for mentioning it because I was not aware of this. Pulling it out in a quote so it's easier for others to see.

hmm hard af imho...those hard doubleflips...and they look really ugly too...a normal hardflip followed by a kickflip if done as intended...

I can't get Nightmare flips working, because if I add an extra flip to a varial kickflip, the board does an extra horizontal rotation, so even though the game *says* I did a double varial kickflip, the board rotates enough for it to actually be a double treflip, and the double tre flip in the game is a double 540 flip, but the game still says it's a double treflip.

So yeah, the game *says* I did a double varial kickflip, but it's actually a double treflip. I would really love for the board to not overrotate with every flip.
