Revert question
So, I'm fairly new to Session, and so far my only complain is doing an unintentional Revert when trying to make adjustments while turning. Is there a way around this, or a way to program it to a different button?

learn to turn using the actual analog function of the triggers and not tapping them like they're directional pads.

no way to bind it to a different button, but you can change the revert sensitivity in reverts setting

Another double tap question : even with max sensitivity, I have to double-tap sometimes more than 4 times before the game detects it. And sometimes revert occurs 2 or 3 seconds after double tapping (smooth push or direct push, same issue).
Is it the same for you all ? (xbox controller, working fine with other games)
Note that the same problem sometimes occurs with sticks : after a pop, the game does not detect that stick is pushed left or right (in order to nose or tailslide for example).

What kind of xbox controller are you using, Almisuifre? Wired xbox 360? Xbox One? and is it an offical controller, or is it like.. a cheaper knock off version? I myself have a cheap knock off xbox360 wired controller, and I have issues with the sensitivity of the triggers, and with my thumbsticks, so doing manuals for me is pretty much impossible at the moment. Of course I'll be getting a new controller soon, but with the quarantine stuff and not being able to work and all that, It's not a priority.. Either way, my point is, if you're having issues with being able to do certain things, it could very well be a faulty controller.

Hi Jordy, thanks for your answer. I'm using an official wired xbox 360 controller. It works fine with other games. In Session, tricks are perfectly responsive, but spins, reverts and grinds are kind of game-breaking (inputs are often not detected). That's why I'm thinking that the game need some tweaks gameplaywise. Some players encounter the same issue, some don't...
I'm thinking of opening my controller to clean it, but I'll wait till the end of the quarantine, just to not end up with a broken controller during this period ! (hope my english is clear !)
English isn't your first language, Almisuifre? lol I never would have guessed.. (not being sarcastic)
As for cleaning your controller, not sure that would do you any good. It very well could be a bug with the game. I've been having an issue with the replay editor. It's been all kinds of messed up to the point where lately i've had to teleport to a different area of the game in order to be able to skate or get on my board. Crazy game breaking glitches like my 360 flips not catching even if they've rotated perfectly, or after resetting at a saved spot marker, the game puts me in a pressure flip stance and wont let me out of it until I spam random buttons to get it to stop lol. Hopefully the next update will address some of these issues.

I get this as well. Spins and grinds work fine though.

Dunno if this helps but I found the reverts to be kinda tied into the framerate.

My PC isn't the strongest so running on max settings gave unstable frames and reverts were total garbage.

Dropping a few settings to maintain stable frames definetly helped fix it for me :)

I can't get the revert to work at all regardless of settings. So tutorial is stuck. Only option is to skip it entirely.

Edit. Tried it again after deleting my save. Worked with rapid fire. Of course leaving that on messes up turning. Was close to refunding. They really should fix this.

just disable reverts on ground and your fine.
