So for something simple like an ollie, hold down a trigger, press down on the right stick(if normal stance) press up on left stick and when you're in the air let go of the trigger. If you find yourself turning (as in turning on the ground, not in the air), you can always hold down the trigger after you start your trick, but for practice it may be easier to start with the trigger first.
There are different options you can mess with for how you turn like hitting the triggers based on sensitivity, timing or speed. Turning is still a bit wonky and has been confirmed that it is still being worked on. It does work though, problem is you won't always get perfect results.
