no stupid "you did not push a direction, so I f´ing bail albeit your trucks should´ve allowed for an easy 50-50"
no stupid "animations need to finish before I accept the next input"
no stupid trigger steering
Session as it is, is just too sluggish control-wise
just gave up trying to get an ugly fs over-willy after an hour...it never registered once...so much for those "beautiful" controls - they simply suck AF as they are
skater xl had a really nice update.
session has more potential with the engine, but is still very stiff and buggy compared to sxl.
i like the competition, skater xl dev suddenly woke up and now communicate what they are doing. lets see how the dev teams do in the future, they are both small, dedicated teams and deserve support.
For me SXL is the better game...by far, that is. And that was the question if I´m not mistaken.
Bye
The trigger steering kinda sucks for me cuz I have 3 dollar Chinese knockoff PS3 controller and the triggers are not analog (pressure sensitive). So I have to jog the button to line up my steering just right and accidentally revert.
Animations in the last XL Beta are weird as hell, the Ollies are too high even with low pop, the speed is unrealistic, 3 normal pushes and you can jump over a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wall, and the manuals/nose feels "bland" and locked in place.
I recommend both games, as i have almost the same amount of hours on both, but atm, and probably in the Future, Session is better after you learn how to play it.
