Deck graphics can change your grip tape color

I just discovered this by accident and I believe there's still people that does't know this, i hope this helps. some deck graphics can change your grip tape pattern color (but not the fully colored ones as the blue, green and purple if you were wondering). I still think it would be nice to have maybe a color wheel to choose your own color and maybe decide whether or not to have the crea-ture studios cutout. (not to be rude, i love you crea-ture studios)

Hold on, isn't that like the whole point? The deck graphics don't only change the bottom layer - as in real life decks have complete color schemes so basically if you have cutouts in the grip, they will have the color of your deck. I mean if you go to a skate shop and want to grab some pro's deck, it's not like you'll get it in 12 different colors, you'll get it in that graphic with that main color and that size - that's it. I see what you mean with the customization, but I'd actually classify this in the "works as designed" category. Perhaps what could work good is if we had a deck editor, where we can chose our own base color and whip up our own graphic - there I can see a color wheel like that work just fine.

EDIT: just to clarify, I don't know if it's obvious, but selecting graphics in Session ain't like selecting them in THPS let's say. You don't just pick a picture on the bottom of your deck, you pick a *different deck*.

OH that makes a lot of sense! i didn't know they were cutouts, that explains the glossy effect, i didn't know you could do that to the grip tape! i thought it was color pen art or something similar! that's why i believed it would be a good idea to be able to change the color!

I was thinking about that! And i think that the best solution is to have both!, It would be great to have Grip tape cutouts and art as options! This way if by any chance you don't like the color of the top layer of the deck, you can go with colored pens and choose your own color! Maybe to match with your wheels or something! I was also thinking about colored bearings and bushings, since those are very noticeable in this game!

This is how I've seen it and it's a cool feature imo.

Yes, different boards will have different wood stain exactly is if you would buy it in a skateshop :)
in the near future, customization will be expended so you can choose your own top/middle/bottom ply color as well. at the moment, it is preset by us for each graphics
