i dont even know why this complicated mode is in here in the first place.
got used to the pressure controls, but i dont see any benefit from this system.
The game is a simulator.
SkaterXL wants me to push both joysticks forward to get an unrealistic high ollie..... That is not simulation dude, be for real.
The 180 I found to be just finding that sweet spot with your controller trigger pressure/spin. Depending on your controller, im using an xbox1 controller. I overturn with a ps4 just because the triggers are a bit different.
All I can really suggest is time bud, just work with the controller you own & that pressure. Once it starts to flow you'll fall in love 100x over ma dude.
was both stick down if i remember right.
the high ollie thing was pretty intuitive to me, irl you also position your front foot a bit more in the back then normal if you want to ollie higher.
wasnt that unrealistic, was barely enough to jump up the courthouse stage, which ppl do in reality.
in reality you do it that way for many tricks, if you do a high bs 180 you first do a high ollie, with a slight angle to bs, but the major part of the turning is done when your at the highest point.
and its very rare in reality that you do full fs 360 kickflips all the time by accident, in session not so much :)
why not take anything good from a game with nearly the same control scheme?
you want your games to feel bad?
Same goes for me, couldn't get the feeling to remember the correct pressure and changed.
With speed I simply try to have my back foot straight aligned with the board, and then pull the front foot at the same moment I trigger. When the speed you trigger fits, you don't need to hold it and you still land 180 or very close to. Works for me also on 180 flips very good when I want to do them fast and clean.
This is a simulation, and if you really do skate you know when doing a bs 180 that you start your momentum before leaving the ground, regardless of when you actually pivot. YOU CANT START SPINNING IN MIDAIR ON SKATEBOARDING PERIOD Haslam would be ashamed
