Maybe you can do a camera more reactive and add No CLIP to the camera + make object between skater and camera Invisible ?
like many games.
I am so sorry for this bad english :(
1. Tested on four xbox1 controllers, one xbox360 controller & PS4 Controller. (Wired Xbox1 and wireless) Still the same problem. Also my friend YZ22 confirmed the same problem.
2. While in Goofy foot, Heel flip tricks, the "input speed" or "directional" speed settings, will NOT change the speed of any heel flip tricks. The kickflip tricks work perfect, speed changes etc. but NOT heel flips :(
(hope it gets fixed soon, it kills the flow when im killing some spots & want a slow heelflip on a big drop.)
Hello, Goofy foot KICK flips "input speed" works perfect with auto catch and manual. However, HEEL flip tricks, the "input speed" or "directional" speed settings, will NOT change the speed of any heel flip tricks. I can even get a slow shuvit with a sick slow kickflip down many stairs but when I try with a heel flip, it is the same speed flip even with a slow shuvit back or frontsided. Here's a thread where the bug was confirmed by 3 people so far. Maybe more now idk
Thank you Dev's, I love this game/physics & flow. Its sick AF, definetly going to get a solid review from me & some people of mine! I played every skate game on ps3, skaterxl, even the old stupid tonyhawk crap just to get my skating fix in. This by far is the GOAT. Keep killing it, can't wait for the full release. Anytime I come across anyother bug i'll hit this thread up.
Best Regards Dev team,

Played the game for a few hours then booted it up and got placed back in the tutorial, whatever it's only short I'll blast through it. All is fine until I reach the do a kickflip part, the game won't register my kickflips so I'm stuck I've tried restarting the game but just loads up to the do a kickflips part, uninstalled and reinstalled the game over night to find I'm still softlocked in this part of the tutorial, my character and board customisation hasn't been lost tho. My character is set to goofy stance so maybe the games registering a switchflip but I can't change stance bc gameplay options are greyed out in the tutorial.
Please help I'm loving this game but frustrated as I can't play
edit: I just got the same fatal error again while trying to redo the challenge but this time, I bailed when I hit the anti-skate metal thing on the same manual pad.
it turned solid after i restarted the game
so now i have 2/2 unplaced ramps and one placed
that i can only move
i guess i found a way to duplicate diy items
You're still using the same foot and performing the same actions on the board in reality, the only thing different is the direction you're moving. Having the controls flip flop to match the player's positioning relative to the camera no longer feels like a simulation, it seems arbitrary.
The worst of it is it doesn't actually reverse until you fully land a trick, so if you do a 180 and land in a manual by pressing down on the right stick, you then have to press up on the right stick (or up on the left stick in front/back mode) to do the sort of switch nose manual after all four wheels hit the ground. Same goes for pop direction obviously, what was once down, now becomes up. It makes performing otherwise simple fakie tricks now rather unintuitive and unnatural.
To me that alone feels like one of the biggest bugs or glitches in the whole game, but it's totally by design?
There needs to be a better place for suggestions, but would you guys please consider adding an additional left / right foot control scheme that remains constant and consistent to your actual person and the board the entire time rather than reversing to match the camera and positioning? It feels too video gamey as it is. I understand not wanting to change one of the current settings at this point, some people would riot that it's different even if it is more natural, but more customization and choice couldn't hurt here.
if uploaded a video to youtube to demonstrate the bug (it's not listed):
