I'm having an issue with stuttering. The game plays fine for maybe 5-10 mins, then crashes. After I reload, the game constantly stutters but the music plays solid. It takes a full system restart to fix. I turned the graphics and FPS down but nothing seems to give.
That being said, I love this game already.
The physics sometimes acts up randomly, like beeing able to skate on a wall.
Also had a crash to desktop.
I'm having issues in the replay editor. I'm not sure exactly what triggers it, but it seems like every time I delete a camera movement keyframe, the camera keeps getting reset to the same camera angle as the deleted keyframe every time I press play or scrub along the timeline. It seems to stay this way until I return to apartment or exit to desktop.
- Failing to catch trick will send the player model upwards 1-2 ft, standing completely straight (default, standing pose)
- Transitions between major animations is very noticeable/jumpy
- Cannot "physically" move into grinds/slides, you MUST have an input on the sticks in order to stick to the rail (on both simple and complex rail modes)
- Feet clipping into board on certain land/jump animations
- Skateboard clipping into ragdoll when bailing/sending ragdoll flying
- Awkward map geometry: Unrollable "gaps" between sidewalk pavers or transitions between major map elements cause the player to either flip around 180 degrees in a single frame, fall off board instead of rolling over or launch the player into the air.
- No animation for adjusting board direction while at a standstill: Board and player just rotate around an awkward axis while all four wheels touch ground.
- Running animations are noticeably floaty, lack IK: Visually comparable to ice skating; running up and down stairs creates jarring, motion-sickness inducing animation flickers.
- Off-board jumping animations have noticeably jarring transitions: Jumping on certain frame intervals causes player to stand completely straight (Default state) while jumping; in a similar way
- Running out of momentum during a board slide and then rotating the board causes IK, player model and physics glitches.
- No animations for getting on and off board, bailing a trick mid-air and pressing the board mount button causes the board to snap back to the feet unrealistically, allowing the player to land failed tricks. (When combined with the early catch animation bug this can cause the player to gain several extra feet of air while jumping staircases, with no risk of bailing the trick)
- No player momentum: Landing tricks with the board sideways, but not sheer enough to cause a bail will send the player quickly rolling in the direction that the board is facing, rather than continuing with the momentum from the jump/previous roll up.
