Shattered Ninja game
I really wanted to get a hold of the developer for Cyber Shadow if possible and discuss with him some serious elements of plagiarism going on , i recently played the demo of a game called shattered ninja in it i came across enemies , weapons , attack items and even the pause screen very similar to cyber shadow but just a hack version of it , the bottom line is this needs to be called out especially when Mekaskull is the sole developer for this game ,if anybody has any info on contacting him i would appreciate it

yeah man i pointed something like that out too just from watching the trailer , right off the bat the dev got really defensive so i decided to do some research and play the demo , right away i saw red flags of plagiarism playing the demo but either way this dev of shattered ninja needs to be called out

I almost shared my own findings in their forum one night, but assumed that maybe I was looking too much into the trailer..! However, the plagiarism is so blatant, and I am glad that others have noticed..!

Aside from Shattered Ninja looking quite similar to Cyber Shadow overall, the game's protagonist has animations identical to Capcom's Strider, and the barely-altered enemy sprites I recognized from the trailer were the flying insect robots from Oniken/Blazing Chrome, the Stage 3(?) robo-ninja midboss from Contra: Rebirth (Wii Shop), and the giant spider mech midboss from the later city stage in Contra 4 (Nintendo DS)..!

Well, now I'm removing that game from my wishlist. I feel bad that I defended that game. I liked it, but if he's stealing from Cyber Shadow's dev and others, then I refuse to buy it. If he removes the stolen assets, and makes his own, I'll buy it. So, shattered ninja dev, do the right thing, please. We're not stupid, and can tell when a game has stolen assets.

Also guys, please look at the game called Street Cleaner. It's a fantastic game that's like Cyber Shadow ( I like it more than CS ). The game deserves a lot more recognition. The team involved in making the game are really awesome ppl. Currently at a 96% approval rate on Steam in reviews.
P.S. Sick and tired of every single review site recommending the same games? Send a friend req my way, and I'll give you tons of hidden gems ;) I'll be making a channel soon talking about great stuff no one else mentions. ex: Check out Lords of Exile

Other than the assets from the other games mentioned here, I also spotted some backgrounds ripped from Batman Return of the Joker and Shadow of the Ninja on NES.
Also the giant red mecha boss looks mostly identical to Gerbera Tetra with a head of Gelgoog from Gundam franchise.

I'd been eyeballing Street Cleaner. Nice to see someone else recommended it.

In regards to Lords of Exile you should also wishlist Steel Assault, Bushiden, and Neon Krieger Yamato.

Hi Fish, and thanks for the recommendations :)
Yeah, I had to recommend Street Cleaner, cause for every.... I dunno.... 30 ppl buying CS, only 1 is buying SC, and personally, I like SC better. It's also gotten better reviews.

90% of these retro-inspired games take from older 8-bit and 16-bit titles. Take a look at Blazing Chrome or Battle Princess Madelyn. Not like this one is entirely original per se.

The game just looks like any other ninja action game with pixel art.

Not really, you can spot that the graphics and sprites are taken directly or identical not just from Cyber Shadow but also other 8-bit games, 16-bit games, DS games and Steam games with a few cosmetic change.
I can tell you where the sprites and backgrounds the developer taken without permission based from the trailer and the demo game like Cyber Shadow as I mentioned, Shadow of the Ninja(Kage in Japan), Contra 4, Blazing Chrome, Shatterhand, Batman Return of the Joker, the main character's sprite is a downsized version of Strider Hiryu from Marvel Vs Capcom, etc.
